An unsettled start to Autumn.
This Evening and Tonight:
Showers will fade this evening, allowing clear spells to develop for most overnight. A few showers are still possible, mainly over the mountains. Staying blustery but winds dying down. More widely cloudy by dawn as rain arrives in the southwest. Minimum temperature 15 °C.
Tuesday:
Heavy rain and low cloud spreads eastwards across the country, with blustery showers to follow. Some brighter breaks, but remaining overcast for many. Strong, gusty winds along the south coast. Maximum temperature 19 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Remaining unsettled with lengthy spells of rain and further blustery showers through Wednesday and Thursday. More settled on Friday, with high pressure bringing more in the way of sunshine.
