Cloudier for some on Tuesday with occasional rain spreading south.
This Evening and Tonight:
A fine end to the day with plenty of evening sunshine. Remaining dry for most overnight with clear periods. Becoming cloudier across Cumbria and north Lancashire with some patchy drizzle possible. Increasingly blustery in coastal and upland areas. Remaining mild. Minimum temperature 11 °C.
Tuesday:
A dry start for most with some morning sunshine in the south. Cloudier in Cumbria with occasional rain and drizzle, this edging southwards and gradually petering out. Feeling cooler. Breezy. Maximum temperature 21 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
High pressure will build bringing a mixture of sunshine and cloudier periods. Increasingly very warm and feeling hot in the strong sunshine by Friday with pollen levels becoming very high.
