Any showers in the south will fade this evening to leave a dry night, with lengthy clear spells for many. Turning locally chilly. Cloud increasing from the north towards dawn, which may give some patchy light rain on the Pennines. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
A band of cloud and perhaps the odd spot of light rain moves southward during Thursday morning. Becoming brighter with sunny spells developing by the afternoon. Feeling fresher. Light winds. Maximum temperature 18 °C.
After a chilly start, Friday will be dry with sunny spells. Cloud increasing from the west overnight to bring outbreaks of rain eastwards Saturday. Rain clearing to scattered showers Sunday.
