    A mostly dry evening with rain arriving Thursday afternoon. Breezy.

    This Evening and Tonight:

    Some evening sunshine for many, although perhaps staying rather cloudy with the odd light shower in the west. Staying breezy overnight, especially over across the Pennines. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

    Thursday:

    A bright start to the day in the east, becoming increasingly cloudy through the morning with rain arriving from the west during the afternoon. Strong, gusty winds. Maximum temperature 22 °C.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Unsettled and cloudy with blustery showers and longer spells of rain possible throughout the period, becoming heavy at times. Turning colder on Sunday.
