The gale to severe gale northwest wind will ease and periods of rain, snow on the hills, will clear to scattered showers, possibly an ice risk on untreated surfaces although becoming dry towards morning. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
A cold start to the day but mainly dry with sunny spells at first. Cloud spreads east during the morning, with patchy rain in the afternoon, feeling much milder. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
A very mild Christmas period, particularly on Tuesday. Cloudy with light rain at times although drier and brighter towards Aberdeen and the Moray Coast, breezy at times.
