The high continues northeast over the continent on Sunday and Monday, building a weak ridge over the eastern North Sea. Meanwhile, a new Atlantic low, 991, becomes slow moving south of Iceland Sunday morning, extending troughs across the UK later Sunday and Monday. No gales expected. Strong winds are expected in sea areas Viking, North Utsire, South Utsire, Forth, Tyne, Dogger, Fisher, German Bight, Humber, Thames, Dover and Wight Friday evening until early Saturday.
