Changeable this Bank Holiday weekend. Sunshine and showery rain.
Saturday will start cloudy, breezy and damp with some showery rain, notably in the east, and fog patches on the hills. Skies will brighten especially heading into the afternoon, though the sunshine could spark the odd sharp shower. Winds easing. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Apart from an isolated light shower, it will be a dry evening and night. Although fairly cloudy occasional clear intervals are likely. Turning chilly under the lighter winds, though frost-free. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Easter Sunday should start fine and there will be some warm spells of sunshine during the day. However, a scattering of showers are also expected, mainly in the east. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
A mix of sunshine and scattered, locally heavy showers is expected on Easter Monday. The showery theme is likely to continue on Tuesday and Wednesday. Warm in sunnier breaks though.
