A pleasant weekend after early rain clears.
Patchy rain spreading across Cornwall and possibly Devon to begin. Turning dry in the afternoon for all but with cloud making any sunshine rather hazy. Mild for early March, though breezy. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Staying dry throughout this evening and overnight but also breezy. Cloud thinning and breaking, with clearer spells developing towards dawn. Cool in the countryside but not too chilly overall. Minimum temperature 7 °C.
Pleasant overall with bright or sunny spells, most prolonged in the east. Breezy in the west to begin; winds easing into the afternoon. Rain perhaps fringing the far southwest later. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Turning colder next week with the return of overnight frosts. Thickening cloud and rain at times, potentially wintry over the hills, but pockets of sunshine breaking through as well.
