Brightening up today but with a chilly northerly breeze.
Early cloud and showery rain across parts of Devon and Cornwall clearing away, then most areas dry with a mixture of sunny spells and patchy cloud for the remainder of today. Feeling colder with the northeasterly breeze slowly easing. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Mainly dry at first but an increasing chance of showers by the morning, perhaps with some hail in the west. Cold with a touch of frost in sheltered rural spots. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
A changeable day with broken cloud, brief sunny intervals and a chance of showers. These could be heavy and wintry, especially over hills. Brisk northerly winds in the west. Chilly. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Staying on the cold side through this period with overnight frosts possible. Sunny/clear intervals and showers at first, wintry on hills. Drier by the weekend but northeasterly winds freshening.
