    Headline:

    Rain spreading in throughout today. Remaining unsettled next week.

    Today:

    A dry start for most with some sunny spells. However the far west will see rain quickly move in and this will spread erratically eastwards. The rain heavy at times, especially during the afternoon and accompanied by a brisk wind. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

    Tonight:

    A wet evening to come, with the rain turning heavy at times. The rain gradually clearing to the north overnight, with many areas becoming dry with clear spells by dawn. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

    Monday:

    A largely dry morning with some spells of sunshine. Showers likely to develop by lunchtime, with a more organised band of rain moving up from the south throughout the afternoon. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

    Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

    Remaining unsettled but mild throughout the period. Further bands of wind and rain likely to move across Wales, but some drier and clearer intervals developing in-between.
