Showery rain clearing south this evening. Largely dry overnight, but a few showers remain possible in northern and western coastal regions. Turning rather cold as winds ease with some frost and fog developing in the countryside, especially well inland. Minimum temperature -3 °C.
Tuesday:
Frost and fog clearing during the morning to leave sunny spells and broken cloud. Turning cloudier through the afternoon with showers possible in the west. Feeling chilly despite light winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Fog patches slowly lifting on Wednesday, then turning wet and windy later. Heavy blustery showers on Thursday, with coastal gales developing. A calmer interlude on Friday. Turning much milder.
