Showers once again merging into heavy rain for all this evening. This replaced by a mixture of clear spells and heavy, possibly thundery, showers overnight. Often windy with coastal gales at times, these perhaps severe, especially in the west later. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Frequent blustery showers with heavy and thundery downpours and hail possible in places, interspersed with sunnier intervals. Windy for all and very windy in coastal areas with severe gales possible. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Remaining generally unsettled during this period with showers and probably more persistent heavy rain on Wednesday. Turning drier by Thursday with some sunshine. Windy at first with temperatures near average.
