Dry Monday with some good sunshine for most during the day but a continued cold feel. Maximum temperature 7 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Generally cold, breezy and likely dry with some sunshine through Tuesday and Wednesday. Cloudier into Thursday, windier with some rain later in the day bringing significantly milder temperatures.

These will bring spells of rain to many parts of the UK, although the heaviest rainfall will probably be in western areas. Some eastern areas could end up largely dry.
