A chilly and mostly dry and sunny morning with the wind quickly easing, after a breezy start. Clouding over this afternoon, with outbreaks of rain arriving later across western areas, accompanied by strengthening winds. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
Outbreaks of rain will move east this evening, followed by heavier rain overnight and windy conditions inland with gales or severe gales along the south coast. Later drier spells develop. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Wet and very windy, although some early and late drier spells are possible. The rain will be occasionally heavy. Coastal gales, locally severe, and also inland gales developing in places. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Remaining wet and windy on Sunday with rain turning showery before clearing overnight. Mostly dry Monday and Tuesday but cloudy, with winds gradually becoming light. Feeling colder.
