Sunny spells, risk of heavy showers this afternoon
A rather cloudy start with outbreaks of rain for the Isles, otherwise a dry and bright morning with some good spells of sunshine developing. The afternoon sees sunny spells and, especially in south, a few heavy, perhaps thundery, showers. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Any showers soon dying out this evening then a dry night with some late sunny then clear spells. Low cloud and mist developing around and to the east of Glasgow. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Low cloud and mist soon clearing to leave a dry and largely sunny day, the sunshine perhaps becoming rather hazy in the afternoon. Very warm with light winds. Maximum temperature 24 °C.
Dry with long sunny or clear spells through the coming days and feeling warm or very warm with only light winds. Risk of a little mist of low cloud overnight.
