Another cold and largely cloudy day. Occasional light rain or hill snow is expected during the morning, turning drier during the afternoon with some brightness but feeling cold in the breeze. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Cold overnight with some initial clear skies clouding over to bring some outbreaks of light sleet and snow by dawn, chiefly over the Pennines. Minimum temperature -1 °C.
Any early outbreaks of light sleet and snow clearing to give a generally dry day Monday with some brightness but a continued cold feel. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Cold, breezy and mostly dry with some bright spells through Tuesday and Wednesday. Cloudier into Thursday, windier with some rain but significantly milder temperatures.
