Rain or showers at times, most persistent during the morning. Perhaps drier in the west. A windy day with strengthening northwesterly winds by the afternoon and coastal gales developing. Colder. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

Showers on Friday, these heavy and prolonged at times. Brighter with fewer showers and sunny spells on Saturday, then largely dry on Sunday. Windy at times and feeling rather cold.
