Early fog patches clearing to a largely sunny start. However, areas of low cloud and mist soon spread inland to many parts, persisting for eastern areas, especially coasts. Some afternoon sunshine likely further west. Feeling much cooler where cloud persists. Maximum temperature 12 °C.
