    Mostly cloudy with patchy rain, although this becoming mostly confined to Argyll this afternoon. Some bright or sunny spells may develop across the south this afternoon. Very mild in any sunshine. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

    Tonight:

    Central Belt and south will have a dry evening and night. Occasional rain across Argyll, this becoming more persistent along the west coast later. Windy across coastal Argyll. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

    Thursday:

    Rain will spread east through the day. Becoming drier across Argyll in the afternoon, and elsewhere through the evening. Maximum temperature 10 °C.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    A cold start with some frost on Friday, then a dry and sunny day, Dry and bright on Saturday, clouding over later. Cloudy with a chance of rain on Sunday.
