Cloudy start in the northeast, brightening up by afternoon but some cloud lingering across Caithness. Otherwise dry and sunny. Still warm in Skye and Lochaber but rather chilly in the east and far north, Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Tonight:
Staying dry, with some late sunshine then clear skies overnight for most leading to some patchy frost. Some cloud persisting over Caithness. Minimum temperature 0 °C.
Sunday:
Early cloud over Caithness will clear to the north then all areas will have a fine day with unbroken sunshine. Lighter winds and feeling warmer but eastern coasts still cool. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Dry and sunny on Monday and Tuesday and becoming warmer by day though still some overnight frost. The west sunny on Wednesday while the east turns cloudier.
