Mainly dry bright but cold on Monday.
Staying dry for most with clear spells allowing frost to develop. Cloudier evening with some showers for Caithness, drier overnight with some icy patches. Cloud and some light rain will spread to the Western Isles overnight. Minimum temperature -2 °C.
Any early light rain over the Isles will clear in the morning. Then a mainly dry bright day with some sunny spells, perhaps the odd shower around Wick. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
Windy as rain, sleet or snow clears slowly north on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday windy, cloudy and milder with some rain or showers.
