A largely dry and bright morning. However, some heavy showers or longer spells of rain will reach the Hebrides before spreading east across all parts in the afternoon. A breezy day with gales later near the west coast. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Outbreaks of heavy rain will clear away east early evening. Blustery showers will follow, some heavy in the west. Strong northwesterly winds with coastal gales. Minimum temperature 2 °C.
Sunny spells and scattered showers during the day. Rain will spread northeast soon after dark, becoming heavy and persistent with snow over high ground and strong winds. Maximum temperature 7 °C.
