    Bright over Caithness otherwise cloudy but dry at first. Cloud, wind and rain will begin to spread north from mid-morning before turning into blustery showers from later in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

    Tonight:

    The evening will be cloudy and windy with blustery showers. These showers will becoming mainly confined to south-western parts from late evening. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

    Thursday:

    Windy with blustery showers, mainly in the west, during the morning. Eastern parts continue drier and brighter. Wind and showers will ease through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Cloudy, rain spreading east at first, turning showery later Friday. Showers clear most parts in the morning with Saturday afternoon and Sunday becoming mostly dry and bright.
