    Some patchy light rain will appear in the east. A rather cloudy day with the best of the limited brightness most likely across Moray and west Aberdeenshire. Winds light. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

    The majority will stay dry with only a few light showers around the eastern coastal districts. Best of the limited cloud breaks in Moray. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

    Saturday:

    Most staying dry. Not as cloudy as the recent run of days with bright and sunny spells building from the north into the afternoon. South to southeast winds increasing. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

    Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

    Turning more unsettled with an area of rain over the area for much of Sunday, most persistent during the afternoon. Showers for Monday and Tuesday.
