    Today:

    Early cloud and freezing fog patches will only slowly clear this morning to leave a sunny but cold day. Cloud thickening from the northwest later in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

    Tonight:

    A mostly dry night, with variable amounts of cloud. However, clear spells will allow some chilly temperatures. Wind increasing overnight with cloud thickening and outbreaks of light rain towards dawn. Minimum temperature 1 °C.

    Thursday:

    Cloudy with some light rain at first. This clearing away southwards, with sunny spells developing. Windy, especially on coasts, and cold. Maximum temperature 5 °C.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Cloudy with risk of some snow early Friday. Then cold and sunny, although wintry showers likely near Norfolk and Suffolk coasts. Feeling colder in wind along coasts, easing during Sunday.
