Continuing wet, with persistent rain. Rain may turn very heavy through the evening, but perhaps easing across southern parts later. Strong winds will remain for northern parts, though easing elsewhere. Feeling chilly. Minimum temperature 8 °C.

Saturday:

Further rain early Saturday, though becoming lighter and more intermittent during the day. Perhaps drier and brighter further south. Feeling chilly, with a brisk easterly wind. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Sunday, cloud and patchy rain clearing south. Largely dry and bright thereafter, but colder with an increasing chance of overnight frost. Breezy at times with a few, mainly coastal, showers.

Colder conditions, already affecting the far north of the UK are likely to extend south to affect all parts through the early part of the period. Initially we may see some less cold conditions with some cloud, rain and possibly hill snow affecting parts of the west. It is as this clears Wednesday that the colder conditions will extend south, bringing some snow showers into northern parts, and the first frosts of the season for many parts of the south. Later in the period, there is likely to be a trend towards more changeable conditions is possible, with some rain or showers in places, and perhaps some hill snow at times in the north. Temperatures overall likely to return to near-average.

Whilst the expected weather patterns during late November are very uncertain, there is a greater chance of slower evolving weather patterns. This could bring rain or showers with hill snow also a possibility, mainly in the north. However, interspersed, there are also likely to be periods of high pressure, bringing more in the way of dry weather compared to the current weather pattern, which also increases the chances of overnight fog and frost. Overall, near or slightly above average temperatures are most likely, though some colder spells are also possible, especially should any prolonged settled spells develop.
