A few showers continuing in the far southwest, otherwise a dry night although skies turning increasingly cloudy. A chilly night, with a patchy frost possible under any prolonged cloud breaks. Winds gradually easing a little. Minimum temperature -2 °C.

Friday:

A cloudy start for most on Boxing Day, though a dry day, with brighter breaks possible through the afternoon. Another cold day, with a frost reforming overnight. Breezy at times. Maximum temperature 6 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Turning increasingly cloudy from Saturday with the odd spot of light rain and drizzle over the weekend, though some brighter breaks remain possible. Often breezy, causing it to feel colder.
