    A mainly dry start but cloud thickening and rain spreading erratically northeast from mid-morning and through the afternoon. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

    Outlook for Friday to Sunday:

    Strong winds initially but mostly dry on Friday. Over the weekend outbreaks of rain and windy conditions at times, drier spells too.
