    A wet evening and night for many with the rain most persistent in the west and over higher ground. Drier at times in some eastern areas and north of higher ground. Very mild and windy with gales on exposed coasts. Minimum temperature 12 °C.

    Cloudy and often wet with any drier interludes mainly in the north and east and fairly brief. Heavier rain arriving in south Wales by dusk. Very mild with winds easing. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

    Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:

    Staying very mild and rather unsettled through the remainder of the week. Showers or occasional longer periods of rain with the chance of some brighter spells. Breezy at times.
