Overcast at first with rain continuing to move eastwards through the morning. Some drier, brighter periods for a time, though showers returning through the afternoon, these perhaps heavy at times. Warm, humid, and becoming rather breezy. Maximum temperature 20 °C.

Tonight:

A second band of persistent rain arrives from the west, with some heavier outbreaks for a time, before turning showery by dawn. Increasingly windy, but staying mild overnight. Minimum temperature 11 °C.

Sunday:

Unsettled, with occasional brighter breaks interspersed with a few, sometimes heavy, showers. Windier than Saturday, especially in the showers, and feeling cooler than recent days, though still humid. Maximum temperature 17 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Remaining unsettled with a mixture of sunshine and showers by day and periods of more prolonged rain overnight. Remaining breezy, especially in the showers. Temperatures near or slightly below average.

Likely continuing changeable with further frontal systems running east into the UK bringing further spells of rain, with showery interludes in-between. Strong winds may also develop at times, particularly in the north and northwest. With time the signs are that systems will increasingly track to the northwest of the country, with the south starting to see longer, drier interludes while the northwest continues to see more in the way of rain and at times strong winds, Temperatures are expected to be slightly above average overall, but will be cooler in any prolonged periods of rainfall. Meanwhile there is the possibility of some very warm, perhaps hot conditions developing, especially in the south and these bring with them the chance of thunderstorms.

Changeable weather across the UK with a mixture of Atlantic weather systems moving in from the west interspersed with dry and sunny periods. Wetter conditions tending to be across the northwest of the UK, with the south and southeast likely to see more in the way of dry weather, Temperatures are most likely to be near normal or slightly above in the north and west, perhaps with some hot spells at times, especially across the south.
