A cloudy evening to come and often very windy, particularly around coasts with a risk of gales. Spells of rain becoming more widespread through the early hours. Mild. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Monday:

An unsettled start to the week with wind and rain though some drier spells to end the day with lighter winds. Temperatures remain above average for the time of year. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Drier overall on Tuesday and Wednesday with high pressure in charge. A chance of rain returning on Thursday. Staying mild with winds easing.

Much of this period looks like being largely dominated by high pressure, especially towards the south or southeast of the UK. This will mean many places seeing plenty of dry weather with variable cloud amounts and some sunshine, the best of this towards the south or southeast, but perhaps with some fog overnight. However, frontal systems are still likely to affect the north and west of the UK at times though, maybe also briefly affecting other parts, bringing some rain and strong winds, and perhaps a little snow to the high ground in the north. Temperatures will be near or above normal, although patchy overnight frost is still likely at times.

Little change at first, probably most unsettled in the west and northwest but drier and brighter toward the east and southeast. Lower confidence late-March but perhaps a trend toward more blocked and slow-moving weather patterns, although uncertain whether this will lead to cyclonic and so more unsettled weather or anticyclonic, more settled and maybe colder patterns in the vicinity of the UK. In general, some rain still probable but distribution of any wetter areas is extremely low confidence. Temperatures overall near or above average, perhaps with a slightly increasing chance this may trend colder towards the end of the month.
