The gale to severe gale northwest wind will ease and periods of rain, snow on the hills northeast, clears to scattered showers, wintry high ground before becoming dry towards morning. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Mainly dry with sunny spells at first. Cloud and rain spreads east from mid-morning becoming persistent over the hills later. Feeling milder too. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
A very mild Christmas period. Cloudy with rain at times, perhaps persistent for Argyll on Tuesday. Some drizzle on Christmas day but dry for many. Breezy at times.
