Another very cold day with bitter winds. For many it will be a dry day with sunny spells. Cloudier with the chance of snow showers for parts of Argyll. Maximum temperature 2 °C.

Tonight:

A very cold night with cloud and snow showers continuing over parts of Argyll. Elsewhere will stay dry with clear spells. Widespread frost. Minimum temperature -3 °C.

Saturday:

A similar day to Friday with snow showers across parts of Argyll. Elsewhere will be dry with a good deal of sunshine. Remaining very cold with bitter winds. Maximum temperature 3 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Very cold conditions continuing with snow showers for parts of Argyll Sunday and Monday, mainly dry with long sunny spells elsewhere. Band of rain and snow spreading eastwards Tuesday.
