Scattered heavy showers mixed with sunny spells will ease by lunchtime as cloud starts to thicken. Outbreaks of rain spreading east from late afternoon. Strong and gusty winds easing later. Mild, but feeling cooler in the wind. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy, with rain spreading eastwards during the evening, perhaps with some heavier bursts. Mostly dry by dawn, with a few clear spells. Becoming breezy again later in the night. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Tuesday:

Often cloudy and mostly dry, although some drizzly outbreaks are possible, mostly on western hills. Some brighter spells, mainly for eastern parts. Breezy, with strong gusts over high ground. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

Rainfall will typically be heaviest in the northwest, with much less reaching sheltered eastern areas. Some snow is possible across high ground in the north. Winds will probably be strong at times, with a risk of gales. Temperatures are likely to be near to or slightly above average.
