The gale northwest wind will ease overnight. A mainly dry night with increasing clear periods in the west spreading to eastern parts later. A late frost likely especially in the east. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Cold and bright at first but cloud and patchy rain spreads east during the day, feeling much milder especially towards the Lothian's. Maximum temperature 10 °C.
A very mild Christmas period. Cloudy with light rain Christmas Eve, drier and brighter in east. Mostly dry on Christmas day although breezy at times. Patchy rain on Boxing Day.
