A grey and overcast start to Sunday with rain through the morning, heavy in places. Rain becoming patchier from late morning, clearing through the afternoon, albeit remaining cloudy. Mostly light winds, breezier along the coast. Temperatures slightly below average. Maximum temperature 8 °C.
Cloud persisting through much of the night but staying dry, perhaps a few clear spells developing by dawn across Northumbria. Light winds. Minimum temperature 4 °C.
Early cloud clearing away to give plenty of prolonged sunny spells through the day. Cloud perhaps increasing from the north into the evening. Light winds. Warmer than previous days. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Patchy early rain should clear to give sunny spells on Tuesday. Wednesday looking similar, although winds picking up. After overnight rain clears, another decent day Thursday with bright spells.
