Strong winds expected all areas except Hebrides, Bailey, Fair Isle and Faeroes Friday evening, extending to Fair Isle later Saturday, then all sea areas Sunday, easing later Sunday in Fastnet and Irish Sea. Strong winds across all sea areas Monday, easing later across Fair Isle and Faeroes. Widespread fog likely across Fair Isle and Faeroes Friday evening and early Saturday.

For the extended outlooks the waters surrounding the British Isles are divided into three areas: Cullercoats, Portpatrick and Niton. These three areas reflect the coverage areas of the UK's Navtex transmitters, which overlap in some areas.
